In Sierra Leone,Pastor Discovers Largest Uncut Diamond

A pastor who goes by the name Emmanuel Momoh,has found a 706 carat diamond in the eastern region of Komo.The diamond which has been handled over to the president of the country,Ernest Bai Koroma is said to be kept in the central bank.


According to sources,the president thanked Mr Emmanuel for not smuggling the diamond out of the country and also stated that when something like this comes to the government,it has to go through the right process.

The diamond has not been valued yet,but it is believed to be the 20th largest since 1972 when the 969 carat star of Sierra Leone was discovered.
