The Islamic terrorist group ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack on Christians in Egypt that claimed 28 lives

The deadly attack on a convoy of two buses carrying Christians to a Monastery in Egypt(Read Here) has led to the Islamic terror group,Isis claiming responsibility on Saturday.The Amaq news agency used by the terror group,in a statement claimed that its fighters were responsible for setting up an ambush for the Christians and shooting at the buses.


This comes as the President,Abdel Fattah el Sissi launched a massive retaliatory attack on the Islamic militant group in Libya and warned that Egypt will use its power to strike at any base that train militants who carry any form of attack in the country.

The president while addressing Egyptians after the attack,appealed to President Donald Trump to hasten effort in fighting global terrorism and make it his primary task while pointing out that countries that finance or train terrorists be punished and dealt with.

In a statement,the President of the United States,Donald Trump said:

''Terrorists are engaged in a war against civilization and it is up to all who value life to confront and defeat this evil.''

He also added that,the deadly attack should bring nations together to crush the evil organization of terror and he made it very clear,anytime innocent blood is deliberately spilled,it inflicts a deep wound on humanity.
