Mudslides And Flood Kill Dozens In Peru

In Peru,there is a phenomenon known as El Nino which is a rise in sea temperature that increases evaporation and brings about heavy rain.This years flood is the worst in almost about 30 years,the devastating situation has affected half of the country and more than 800 towns and cities have declared emergencies.


Lima,the capital have been without water since Monday and services are only been restored now.According to officials,at least about 72 people have died in several days of  floods and mudslides triggered by heavy rain in Peru.

The rains which have stopped for now is expected to continue in the coming weeks this is according to forecasters.The security agents have been deployed to maintain law and order across the country.
