Maldivian Model Commits Suicide

Raudha Athif who is 21 and a model as well as a medical student has reportedly committed suicide at a dormitory hostel in Bangladesh.Her classmates found her dead in her room on Wednesday and police later came to recover the body at about midday.


According to the superintendent of the female hostel,Mahmuda Begum,''The model always looked happy and it is hard to believe she would commit suicide''.

The model's first breakthrough that brought her to limelight  was this beautiful image taken by photographer Sotti called ''Maldivian Girl with Aqua Blue Eyes''.The president of her native Maldives even praised her for her striking appearance.She even featured on the cover page of Vogue India magazine in October last year.
