Tennessee Couple Busted While Trying To Sell Their 5 Month Old Baby

A couple,Deanna Lynn Greer(37)and John David Cain(26)were arrested after handing their baby to an undercover police officer in return for money.


The couple who had  placed the advert on Craigslist were trying to sell their baby for $3,000 but luck ran out on them when another couple who saw the advert contacted the Greene County Sheriff's office.

According to Sheriff Pat Hankins,he said the undercover police officer then contacted the couple and arranged a meeting with them,that they should meet outside a discount supermarket where the exchange was to be made.

The officer who was shocked said,''can you believe this?,we bought a baby and it makes my heart drop''-The Greenville Sun Newspaper.The child is already in state custody says Sheriff Pat Hankins.
