Three Teenagers Arrested Over Toddler's Death

Three teens were arrested in Preston over the death of a 19 months old girl.An ambulance service called police on Thursday at about 9:30am to Lostock hall,about three miles south of the city.


The child was said to have been taken to Royal Preston Hospital,but later died.A spokeswoman for Lancashire Police said,''Three people,a woman aged 18 and two men aged 18 and 19 from Lostock hall have been arrested and currently in custody''.

The police are treating the death of the toddler as suspicious and a post-mortem examination is due to be carried out.
