A Man has being killed in Manchester after thieves stole his car

Michael Samwell was killed by thieves who stole his car after a break-in at his apartment Chorlton,Manchester.Police who are investigating the case believes he was run over by the criminals with his own black Audi S3 at about 3 am on Sunday.

Detective Superintendent Jon Chadwick speaking said,''This is the murder of an innocent man who has merely sought to protect his property from criminals,we will not stop until we have found the person responsible for this dreadful crime''.


Samwell was just 35 who had gone to confront intruders who had trespassed into his home.Eyewitnesses are urged to come forward to the Greater Manchester Police to give useful information.
