An accident at Ugheli in Delta state Nigeria,has led to the death of one person

An accident involving a trailer has led to the death of one person while about eight others sustained various degree of injuries on Saturday morning.


According to reports,the accident which occurred at about 10:40am,involved a trailer with plate number CC 15861,crashing into pedestrians,motorbikes and cars parked by the roadside.

The accident happened at the Otovwodo junction in Ugheli,Delta state and those involved in the accident were immediately rushed to the Ugheli Central Hospital.

An eyewitness account states that the trailer driver lost control,maybe due to failed brakes or otherwise.Two commercial motorbike operators were confirmed to be seriously injured in the accident.

Unfortunately,one of the victims of the accident who was rushed to the Ugheli Central Hospital upon referral to the Delta State University Teaching Hospital in Oghara,Delta state was confirmed to have died.
