Acting President of Nigeria approves 19 new Judges for National Industrial Court of Nigeria

The Acting President of Nigeria,Professor Yemi Osinbajo has given his approval for the appointment of 19 new Judges into the National Industrial Court of Nigeria.


The approval comes on the basis of a recommendation by the National Judicial Council allowing for the Acting President to make the appointments.

Soji Oye who is the National Judicial Council's Director of Information in a statement said the 19 new Judges will be sworn in on Friday which is the 14th of July 2017 by the Chief Justice of Nigeria in person of Honorable Justice Walter Onnoghen.

''They will be sworn in by the honorable,the Chief Justice of Nigeria and Chairman,National Judicial Council,Hon. Justice W.S.N. Onnoghen(GCON) on Friday,14th July,2017 by 3:00pm at the Supreme Court of Nigeria.''

1.Targema John lorngee from Benue state

2.Namtari Mahmood Abba from Adamawa state

3.Nweneka Gerald Ikechi from Rivers state

4.Kado Sanusi from Katsina state

5.Adeniyi Sinmisola Oluyinka from Ogun state

6.Abiola Adunola Adewemimo from Osun state

7.Opeloye Ogunbowale A. from Lagos state

8.Essien Isaac Jeremiah from Akwa Ibom state

9.Elizabeth Ama Oji from Ebonyi state

10.Arowosegbe Olukayode Ojo from Ondo state

11.Ogbuanya Nelson S. Chukwudi from Enugu state

12.Bashir Zaynab Mohammed from Niger state

13.Galadima Ibrahim Suleiman from Nasarawa state

14.Bassi Paul Ahmed from Borno state

15.Danjidda Salisu Hamisu from Kano state

16.Hamman Idi Polycap from Taraba state

17.Damulak Kiyersohot Dashe from Plateau state

18.Alkali Bashar Attahiru from Sokoto state

19.Mustapha Tijani from Jigawa state.
