A father was struck by lightning at his daughter's wedding in Canada

Every father's dream is to give out their daughter's hand in marriage to their supposedly son in-laws on that spectacular and beautiful wedding day with no distortion,mishap or as the case might
be,lightning strike.

For Mr. JP. Nadeau,who is the bride's father,the unexpected happened as he was struck by lightning as he was giving his speech in the wedding ceremony at his home in New Brunswick,Canada.

According to him,while narrating his experience to the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation,''And just as i told my new son in-law,'You are a lucky guy'-Boom!''.

He continued,saying that his daughter saw the lightning strike the ground and his hand was lit up with the spark but that did not stop the wedding from proceeding.

''I had the microphone and the shock jumped into the sound system and my hand just lit up and i saw the spark and i am looking at my hand and its all flared up.
''It was like i was holding a lightning bolt in my hand,it was amazing.''

He suffered a little bruise on his thumb but was however okay after the experience.Everyone at the wedding were terrified and wondered,what the hell just happened?.
