Doctor shoots former colleague and injures five others in Bronx Lebanon Hospital

A shooting spree at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center in New York has led to the death of a female doctor while five others are reported to be fighting for their lives.


According to reports,a male doctor who resigned from the hospital back in 2015 due to sexual harassment allegations leveled on him,came back to the hospital to take revenge on his former colleagues.

The assailant's name was given as doctor Henry Bello,he came into the hospital with an assault rifle concealed inside a lab coat he was putting on.According to officials,he tried setting himself ablaze before he later shot himself fatally.

According to some of his colleagues,the very doctor was harsh,threatening people and spoke in an aggressive tone.

Police states that Dr. Bello was arrested in 2004 and also in 2009 after peeping underneath women's skirt using a mirror and also tried taking advantage of a woman.

According to Mayor Bill de Blasio,while speaking with reporters,he said the doctor acted all alone and that the motive for his actions was solely work related and everything came to an end after the gunman ended his own life.
