Mastercard Unveils Credit Card With Fingerprint Sensor

Credit card provider,Mastercard has revealed it's newest payment card with a fingerprint sensor,this launch comes after it was successfully tried out in South Africa.


Ajay Bhalla,Mastercard chief of securuity and safety said,''the fingerprint technology would help to deliver additional convenience and security,it is not something that can be taken or replicated''.

The new Mastercard with fingerprint sensor is the first to have both the digital template of the user's
fingerprint and the sensor required to read their fingerprints at the point of sale.

The new card also works the same way as with mobile phone payments,all you have to do is put your finger in the sensor when making payments.
