Chuck berry was born on the 18th of October 1926 into an African-American family in St. Louis,Missouri,where he developed the interest for music at an early age.
His first ever performance was dome at a high school and since then he has made it big for himself.He was one of the very pioneers of rock and roll music,he was a songwriter,a guitarist and a singer.
His songs includes,Maybellene,which he sang in 1955,Roll over Beethoven,which he sang in 1956,Rock and Roll Music,which he sang in 1957 and Johnny B, Goode,a song he sang in 1958.
Chuk Berry was among the very first musicians that was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in its maiden edition in 1986.He was also among many of Rolling Stones magazines and was ranked fifth in the magazines 100 greatest artists of all time in 2004.
