Missing nursing student found dead in her car
A nursing student who went missing by the name Sheila Khalili of Olivet Nazarene University was found dead in her car(Read here).Officials say they found her body on Thursday inside a vehicle in a pond not very far from the university.
According to reports,a Kankakee County Sheriff deputy was the one that noticed debris which included a mirror and a bumper by the side of the road early morning hours on Thursday and the parts matched that of Khalili's missing vehicle.
Bourbonnais Deputy Chief,David Anderson in a statement said:
Investigators who have been at the scene of the accident since 4 a:m. on Thursday,says it was a single vehicle traffic accident but investigations still continues as an autopsy is scheduled for 11 a:m. Thursday.
Sheila's family has expressed thanks to everyone that has shown concern since her disappearance,the family's lawyer,Thomas Glasgow read in a statement:
Her school,Olivet Nazarene University also issued a statement,read below....

''Investigators found the vehicle upside down and submerged in a pond off interstate 57 near mile marker 31.7 between Manteno and Bourbonnais.A deceased woman was found inside matching the description of 27 year old Sheila Khalili.''

''The location of the car and the recovery of Sheila's body gives the family closure and they understand that without the help of law enforcement,the media and the public;they would never have closure in her disappearance.''
Her school,Olivet Nazarene University also issued a statement,read below....
''The university learned this morning from the family and local authorities that Sheila's car was found just north of Bourbonnais and that Sheila was in the car,having passed away.
''We grieve the loss of such a bright young student whose warm heart and passion for serving others was so evident in her life.We are continuing to pray for her family and friends.''
