Berlin Tram crash leaves 27 people injured
An incident involving two trams in Berlin occurred on Thursday morning which left about 27 people injured.According to reports,the collision happened as a result of partial derailment on the part of one of the trams.
According to local media,the incident happened on the intersection between Danziger Strasse and Prenzlauer Allee.Before the collision occurred,both trams were said to be moving in opposite directions on the M10 line.
Emergency services were sent in to save the situation and take the injured to the hospital.The cause of the collision is not yet known but Train operator,BVG is said to carry out investigations surrounding the tram crash.
This incident happened barely few hours after a gas bottle with an ignition device was found in a restaurant and police were able to,'secure the object'.
