Bomb Blast Kills Many In St Petersburg

 

Reports coming in reveals that a nail bomb has ripped through a train station in St Petersburg killing at least 12 people and injuring over 50 people today.


The incident happened in a train travelling between Sennaya Ploshchad and Sadovaya stations and it is being investigated as a terror attack.

According to witnesses,a man threw a backpack into the train before the explosion which has left many injured including children.Vladimir Putin who is in St Peterburg his hometown today for talks with the Belarus president has confirmed the incident and he has offered his condolence to the dead and injured.

President Putin speaking said,''I have already spoken to the head of our special services;they are working to ascertain the cause of the blasts,the causes are not clear,it is too early.We will look at all possible causes terrorism as well as common crime''.
