An Abuja area court(Grade One)has sentenced one Wisdom Gabriel who is 22 to two months imprisonment for stealing N170(which is less than a dollar)at a Chemist shop in old Karmo market.The judge,Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq while passing the judgement said the sentence is going to serve as a deterrent to others who are also tempted to follow the same path,he however gave an option of N5,000 fine to the convict.
