Organizers of Miss Bumbum Brazil sets new rules for contestants

Brazil's most popular beauty pageant known as Miss Bumbum will be holding its sixth competition for 27 contestants come August this year with a model representing each state in the country.


Organizers of the pageant have set new rules and guidelines for this year's competition as against previous competitions where models wore the skimpiest of bikinis,provocative lingerie,G-strings and thongs,causing controversy in a deliberate way,offering to go naked in exchange for votes and intentional antics.

The new guidelines states that a contestant Butt must not be bigger than 107cm(42 inch) in diameter,the official shoot will be classic and elegant seeing contestants wearing full body swimsuit.

According to Cacau Oliver,founder of Miss Bumbum:

''After five successful editions,i felt the need to reach for a new audience,to show a new way to be sexy without being overtly sexual.I wanted to take the focus off just the bottom and judge women on their other attributes like face,skin,breasts.

''I would like people to see the contest differently,like they would a beauty pageant and not just who has the best bottom.''

Miss Bunbun 2017 we see ladies competing from different spheres against each other for the coveted crown.A medical student,a flower shop owner,a psychology student,a fashion model and a professional chef are just but a few mentioned who are in this contest.
