Parents in Germany to be Fined for not vaccinating their kids

A new law has been put in place in Germany to make sure that parents vaccinate their kids against the measles epidemic spreading across Europe.

The World Health Organization gave a warning last month that the measles disease is already spreading across Europe and that the contagious disease can affect anybody or even an entire country.

Measles is a life threatening disease that is caused by a virus, symptoms include fever, cough, red eyes and white spots inside the cheek.

The German government is set to pass into law from 1st of June,a law prompting all parents to vaccinate their kids or face a fine amounting to $2,806.When the law is passed,it will enable school owners to inform the government when parents refuse to vaccinate their kids and this will lead to an expulsion of the child from the school.

The measles outbreak calls for concern as figures shows that an increased number of measles outbreak by mid-April this year was about 400 cases compared to just 325 cases throughout the year 2016.

Reports states that Ukraine,Italy,Romania,Switzerland have high level of increased cases this year compared to previous years.

The decline in vaccination of kids has been attributed to the President of the United States,Donald Trump, where he said,he believed that vaccines are harmful and they can cause autism.
