Golfer,Tiger Woods arrested for 'Driving under the influence' in Florida

Reports just coming in says that Tiger Woods was arrested on Monday in Florida for drunk driving.The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office states that,the golfer was arrested around 3 am on Monday,south of Indian Creek Parkway in Jupiter and was charged for driving under the influence.


Based on information from the arrest,Woods,a resident of Elite Enclave of Jupiter Island,was booked into jail at 7:18 am and then released on his own recognizance at 10:50 am.The golfer exceeded the legal limit of .08 and he obviously faces charges.

Tiger Woods was reported by Forbes in 2016 to be worth $740 million,and since then,the golfer has stepped up on his game to several endorsements and prize money earning him well over $1.4 billion.

This latest arrest makes it the second time he was caught driving under the influence.Just last week he released a statement addressing his surgery which was carried out in April.

''My surgeon and physiotherapist say the operation was successful.It is just a matter of not screwing up and letting it fuse.

''I am walking and doing my exercises and taking my kids to and from school.All i can do is take it day by day,there is no hurry.But i want to say unequivocally,i want to play professional golf again.

''Presently,i am not looking ahead,i can't twist for another two and a half to three months.Right now,my sole focus is rehab and doing what the doctors tell me.

''I am concentrating on short-term goals .''
