Ariana Grande and other's perform in Manchester

Ariana Grande's One Love Manchester benefit concert planned for Sunday 4th of June 2017,finally pushed through at the Emirate Old Trafford  stadium after the unfortunate happenings on May 22nd at her Manchester Arena concert which was sabotaged by Salman Abedi,who deliberately killed innocent lives and injured several others.


Prior to the One Love Manchester benefit concert,The Greater Manchester Police issued a statement on Sunday,Chief Constable Garry Shewan read the statement:

''There are two large scale events taking place in Greater Manchester today and we would like to assure people that these will still take place but with additional security in place to ensure the safety of everyone.''

Ariana Grande performed before her fans who were estimated to be over 50,000 and as she performed with the choir from Parrs Wood High School,her fans were moved to tears.

Grande,in between songs,expressed her heartfelt joy and emotions.

''I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for coming today.I love you so,so much.Thank you.
'''I want to thank you so much for coming together and being so loving and strong and unified.I love you guys so much and i think that the kind of love and unity you are displaying is the kind of medicine that the world really needs right now.''

The show began with a minute of silence for those killed and also injured in the suicide attack and also for the London bridge victims.Her fans danced and sang along with all the stars which included Katy Perry,Coldplay,Pharrell Williams,Black Eyed Peas,Justine Bieber and Miley Cyrus.

The night was filled with hope and love as her fans watched her perform her songs and Grande closed the show with an heartfelt song from the classic 1939 movie,'The Wizard of Oz',''Somewhere Over The Rainbow'' with fellow artist joining her on stage amidst tears.
