A 16 year old boy has been killed in Oak park while attempting to rob a Man

Police in Oak park have reported the killing of a 16 year old boy who allegedly tried to rob a man in his twenties at a bank's parking lot near Madison's street and Austin Boulevard on Saturday.


The incident which happened at about 11:15 a:m,saw the victim of the robbery attack exchange gun fire with the teenage boy who later got away in a waiting car that drove off into Chicago,where police said he later died at Stroger Hospital due to his wounds.

Police officers at the scene of the robbery attack detained the man and was been questioned by investigators who later found out he was carrying a valid licensed conceal carry permit.

The teenage boy's identity was not released and police are however investigating how he ended up at Stroger hospital and police says anyone with any information can call this number-708 386 3800.
