U.S Intelligence releases photos of shattered remains of weapons used by Salman Abedi

The U.S. Intelligence has released photos of the shattered remains of the bomb,backpack and detonator used by the suicide bomber,22 year old Salman Abedi at the Manchester Arena which led to the death of 22 people and leaving over 60 injured.


The photos which were leaked by the American authorities,shows a small handheld detonator was used in exploding the bomb which is said to have contained bolts and nuts to cause more harm.

According to the New York Times,the device appeared to be improvised and it was made with great care.Investigators say the suicide bomber's torso was blown up and out towards the Manchester Arena entrance,the bomb had 12 volt 2.1 amp lead acid battery which was found at the scene of the blast.

The Father of the suicide bomber,Ramadan Abedi was arrested in Tripoli by masked men as well as his younger brother,Hashem Abedi who authorities believe have close contact with the Islamic state terrorists.Libyan authorities claim that Hashem was aware of his brothers plan.
