Microsoft aims at artificial intelligence for future tech

Microsoft in a bid to partake in Artificial Intelligence market has unveiled several key components during the annual build developer conference which started on May 10th in Seattle.The tech giant which has a cloud based system called OneDrive says it now has about 500,000,000 devices running its Windows 10 software.


Microsoft says it is infusing programs with Artificial Intelligence that could obviously tap into services in the internet cloud and to take advantage of the computing power in nearby machines.

According to Harry Shum,Microsoft Executive Vice President of Artificial Intelligence and Research:

''We are infusing AI into every product and service we offer,we have been creating the building blocks for the current wave of AI breakthroughs for more than two decades,''

''Microsoft research has gone deep into areas such as machine learning,speech recognition and enabling machines to recognize what they see.Now we are in the unique position of being able to use those decades of research breakthroughs.''

Artificial Intelligence is the next thing in tech,we can already see the benefits of AI around us,for example,Cortana,siri digital assistance that help in answering questions,controlling connected devices such as various appliances,cars or even light bulbs.
