A burglar has been arrested at 50 cent's mansion
A suspected thief has been arrested at the home of 50 cent after an entry alarm went off on Tuesday,the burglar was also spotted by security guards manning the property.
According to police reports,they responded to the break-in at about 12:20 p.m. on Tuesday at 50 Poplar Hill Drive after a break-in entry alert went off.
Police arrived at the mansion and discovered a man on the property who they later identified as 34 year old Elwin Joyce and was all alone.It was later discovered that nothing was tampered with or stolen.
He was later charged with second degree burglary,criminal mischief,possession of burglary tools,second degree criminal trespass and criminal attempt at sixth degree larceny.He was however held on a $100,000 bond.
The mansion which is 50,000 square foot,has 25 bathrooms,an indoor swimming pool,a recording studio,a basketball court,game rooms,fully functional gym,a nightclub and the 17 acres of land has a penthouse,a grotto and a landing area.
Curtis James Jackson III aka 50 cent wasn't at home when the break-in occurred.
