35 people die in an Accident in Tanzania

The accident which happened on Saturday,involved a mini bus conveying 32 school children between the ages of 12 and 13,two teachers and the driver.The unfortunate accident which occurred in the Northern part of Arusha,killed all of the occupants on board when the bus plunged into a ravine.


According to the Arusha regional police commander,Charles Mkumbo:

''The accident happened when the bus was descending on a steep hill in rainy conditions.We are still investigating the incident to determine if it was caused by a mechanical defect or human error on the part of the driver.''

The President of Tanzania,John Magufuli in a statement said,the accident was a national tragedy.The students were said to be visiting another school when the accident happened.
