Results from CDC shows bacteria infection was the main cause of deaths in Liberia

The CDC has made it's findings known about the actual cause of deaths in Liberia some weeks back when some people died mysteriously The U.S. Centers For Disease Control and Prevention has made known its findings.


The samples taken and tested from the deceased shows that a bacteria called Neisseria meningitidis was the actual cause of the 'mysterious' deaths.The CDC made the results known on Monday after sharing findings with Liberian Health Officials.

The bacteria is said to be contagious and can be contacted through kissing and having close contact with an infected person and can also cause mental confusion just like the reported cases in Liberia.

Most of the victims involved had initially attended a funeral in Greenville,Sinoe County for the funeral of a christian leader.
