A pastor has been jailed in Nicaragua for burning a woman alive

A pastor by the name Juan Rocha based in Nicaragua has been sentenced to 30 years imprisonment for burning a married woman alive in an exorcist act.The so-called pastor along with his siblings tied their victim up and threw her into the fire.


Vilma Trujillo,25,from the North-West village of El Cortezal was their victim,she had 80%  of burns all over her body.She later died in February after spending a week in hospital.

According to the judge,Alfredo Silva:

''The suffering that Trujillo was subjected to is something no human being should go through.''

The 23 year old pastor,Juan Rocha,his siblings,Tomasa Rocha,Pedro,Rocha,Franklin Jarquin and Esneyda Orozco denied ever killing her and said she was possessed by an evil spirit.

The late woman's husband Reynaldo Peralta Rodriguez after her death lamented saying:

''They killed my wife ,the mother of my two little ones.Now what am i going to tell them?.''
