Isis linked terror group,kills 19 civilians in the Philippines in recent attacks
The military said,the bodies were discovered on the island of Mindanao while conducting rescue operations on Saturday,the bodies discovered includes that of a child and a woman.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Jo-Ar Herrera:
''These are civilians,women.Theses terrorists are anti-people ,we found their bodies while conducting rescue operations on Saturday.''
The military has announced that starting with the commencement of the Ramadan,it would intensify it's bombing strategies and massive air strikes against the extremists.Brigadier General Restituto Padilla made the announcement:
''In as much as we would like to avoid collateral damage,these rebels are forcing the hand of government by hiding and holding out inside private homes,government buildings and other facilities.
''Their refusal to surrender is holding the city captive,hence,it is now increasingly becoming necessary to use more surgical airstrikes to clear the city and to bring this rebellion to a quicker end.''
A government spokesman however said,people were trapped in the city and were scared of their lives and safety:
''They have been sending us text messages,calling our hotline,requesting us to send rescue teams,but we cannot simply go to areas which are inaccessible to us.
''They want to leave,they are afraid for their safety.Some are running out of food to eat,they fear they will be hit by bullets,by airstrikes.''
