2O British tourists fined for running around naked in Mallorca

In what seemed to be an exciting time for about 20 male Brit tourists who were having fun running around butt naked in the sunny holiday resort of Mallorca,Spain however turned sour for them.

According to reports,the 20 male tourists were seen running along the promenade in Palmanova butt naked with a few covering their their nakedness with their hands.Some tourists were however not pleased with the sight while some looked on in amazement.

Police officers not pleased with their public show off,traced them to their hotel in Calvia,Mallorca and fined 18 for violating local co-existence bylaws and one other for holding up traffic.

In an official statement issued by The City Council of Calvià concerning this issue reads thus:

''The Local Police of Calvià have identified and fined the group of tourists that yesterday ran naked in Palmanova.The agents have located the hotel where they were staying and have identified the group of 20 British tourists who appeared in a video,walking naked in Palmanova.

''Of the 20,they have proceeded to immediately sanction 18 for violating the Ordinance for the Promotion of Co-existence and one for obstruction of traffic.

''The tourists have paid the fine filed at the same time and have apologized.The City Council of Calvià will be forceful and will not allow this type of behaviour and congratulates the local police for the speed with which they acted.''

The video of the naked tourists was published by the island's Diario de Mallorca.The British tourists however apologized for their behaviour and a paid an unknown fine to the authorities.
