Yellowstone hot spring burns a North Carolina man
Gervais Dylan Gatete who is from Raleigh suffered severe burns when he accidentally fell into the hot spring at Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming.He was said to be in the company of seven other people when the incident happened.
According to YellowstoneNPS on Twitter,while announcing the incident:
Based on reports,the hot spring is said to have killed or injured several persons than any other natural features at YellowstoneThe victim was eventually helped by the group and a ranger who gave him first aid before he was taken by ambulance to the airport where he was eventually airlifted to a hospital.
The website of the Yellowstone National Park says the Geyser Basin is about the size of the Island of Manhattan.

''It consists of a flat plain interspersed with meadows and stands of lodgepole pine,with the Firehole River flowing through the central part of the basin.The deepest circulating water can be hotter than 93 degree Celsius.''
