Niger Delta Militants give northerners until October 1st to vacate Niger Delta

The Niger Delta militants have given all northerners residing in the oil rich area of the state a serious warning,that before 1st October 2017,no person from the north should be seen or found within the state.


In a meeting held in Port Harcourt yesterday,an alliance of the Niger Delta militant groups known as Coalition of Niger Delta Agitators made this known.

They however blamed the Acting President Yemi Osinbajo,DSS,Inspector General of Police,Nigeria Army for not quelling or arresting individuals or groups clamoring or agitating that all Igbo's resident in the north should vacate the region before October 1st.

The group in a joint statement which was endorsed by John Duku for Niger Delta Watchdogs,General Ekpo Ekpo for Niger Delta Volunteers,General Osarolor Nedam for Niger Delta Warriors,Major General Henry Okon Etete for Niger Delta People's Fighters,Major General Asukwo Henshaw for Bakassi Freedom Fighters,Major General Ibinabo Horsfall for Niger Delta Movement for Justice,Major General Duke Emmanson for Niger Delta Fighters Network,Major General Inibegbe Adams for Niger Delta Freedom Mandate and Major General Ibinabo Tariah  for Niger Delta Development Network.

''We condemn in totality the meeting held by the Acting President with some northern elders and youths.We see it as a grand conspiracy,a responsible government should have arrested those traitors:;but our government rather turned round to meet with them  and pleaded for peace.

''Does the Nigerian government see people from other zones as second class citizens?.Why are they more important to the Acting President,why is it that the Nigerian law is always weak when it involves the northerners?.

''We are still watching the unfolding events with keen interest.''

The group continued by warning all Oil and Gas companies to leave the region before that date and made it clear that a Sovereign Republic of Niger Delta might be declared come 1st of October.

''We want to sound this as a warning to all the northerners living in Niger Delta to quit our land before October 1st,2017 as this is not just a threat.After October 1st,2017,any northerner found within The Republic of Niger Delta shall be seen as an intruder and shall be treated as such.

''We also use this opportunity to advice Oil and Gas companies in our territory to shut down further operations.PENGASSAN and NUPENG to warn/withdraw their members from Niger Delta before October 1st 2017 or risk their lives.

''Our next action will surprise you.''
