Paris,China bound flight experiences turbulence,injuring about 26 people

A China Eastern Airline flight from Paris on Sunday was struck with turbulence as passengers on board the flight went through harrowing experiences.


The flight MU774 was on its way to Kunming in the southern Yunnan Province of China when turbulence struck.About 26 people were injured,four were said to be in a critical state.

According to local media,most passengers suffered from soft tissue injuries,cuts and broken bones.The impact of the turbulence was felt by passengers as their heads and shoulders hit each other while luggage's also fell from their racks and fell on them.

The Airline however said passengers must wear their seat belts at all times based on the fact that a turbulent occurrence might happen anytime.

A passenger who took to the Weibo microblogging site said he was scared for his life and that many passengers hadn't buckled up.

''I was on the flight and i felt like i would not survive.Many people were injured and among them,many had not buckled up.''

The flight MU774 which took off from Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris,was said to have landed safely in Kunming
