Sad! A six months old baby has died over sheer neglect by the mother

Six months old baby Zayla Hernandez was left all alone in the bathtub with the water running while her mum,Cheyenne Summer Stuckey who is 21,chatted away for good 20 minutes on Facebook and according to her,she totally forgot about little Zayla.


While narrating to the Parker County Sheriff's Office,she said,she only left little Zayla for a couple of minutes and when she returned,the baby laid face down in the tub and was not responding,at that moment she became scared and tried resuscitating the child but she couldn't.

According to reports,the little girl was then rushed to the hospital,where she was pronounced dead and a preliminary autopsy carried out on her,showed that she died as a result of drowning.

Further investigations revealed that she was on Facebook for about 18 minutes messaging two people while her little Zayla was at the point of death.

She was charged with injury to a child and her bond hasn't been set as at the time of this write-up.Stuckey's other kids,a two year old boy and four year old twin girls,were however placed in foster care.
