Super Nintendo World debuts at Universal studios in Japan

Lovers of Super Nintendo and Mario fans are in for a real treat as a new theme park has opened at the Universal Studios in Osaka,Japan.The ground breaking ceremony which was held on June the 8th,2017,saw the world's first Nintendo themed entertainment area been setup to open in time for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.


According to Nintendo,the expansive area will bring to life Nintendo's legendary world and characters:

''Super Nintendo will bring the fun of Nintendo games to life within an expansive,highly themed environment.Guests will enter a world of excitement where they will feel as if they are playing inside their favorite Nintendo games.''

The CEO of Universal Studios,Japan,Jean Louis Bonnier explained that the themed area will also include retail outlets as well as restaurants.

''The new Nintendo themed area will have different levels and will offer our guests a unique experience.It will provide a complete immersive experience which will have attractions,retail and restaurants.''

Nintendo is also looking at expanding to the Universal Studios Orlando and Hollywood but no date has been fixed for the expansion.
