Isis militants storm Philippines resort in Manila injuring dozens
An attack on the popular Resorts World Manila in Pasay city by Isis gunmen has led to dozens of tourist injured.The terrorist group opened fire on guests at the resort which is near Manila airport.
Explosions and shootings started about midnight local time when armed masked men stormed the resort and started shooting from the second floor of one of the buildings.
This recent attack is seen as a diversion to divert the military's attention as the battle in Marawi intensifies against the Isis linked Maute group.
The building under attack has a casino,shopping center,clubs,restaurants,cinemas and a theater.In a statement,management of the resort said:
According to the Philippine National Police Chief,he said there was no concrete evidence that this recent attack was linked to any form of terrorism and there was no report of any confirmed gun shot wound

''The company is working closely with the Philippine National Police to ensure that all guests and employees are safe.''
