A man has been jailed for 14 years after dragging his wife through the streets in Germany

This is a case of man's inhumanity to man.Nurettin B. who is 39 and a German citizen is said to have intentionally tried in killing his wife,Kader K. who is 28.Trouble started November last year when quarrel between the couples ensued and this led to Nuretin stabbing his wife Kader near the heart.


He continued by tying a rope around her neck and used the blunt side of an axe in hitting her on the head which resulted in a fracture of her skull.He went on by tying her to his VW passat and dragged her over the asphalt through the streets of Hamelin in Germany.

While all these wickedness was ongoing,their son whose name was given as Cudi,who is 2 years old,sat in the back seat of the car screaming and crying while watching his mother through the back window going through pain and torment.

She was later saved when the rope suddenly snapped and passers-by quickly rushed to save her.She was immediately taken to the hospital where she was in coma for six weeks.

At the Hanover state court,where he stood trial for attempted murder,the judge sentenced him to 14 years imprisonment and also to pay £100,000 compensation to the victim.

Kader's lawyer,Roman von Alvensleben,while expressing her dismay said:

''I have hardly experienced a case where the intention to kill was so clearly visible.It's an absolute miracle that she is alive at all.''
