A 36 year old son has killed his 65 year old father in Thailand

A 36 year old man and also a son has murdered his father who is 65 in cold blood in Southern Thailand over the mere fact that his father forgot to add fish sauce to his lunch


According to eyewitnesses,the son who is Sakdin Duangphakhon aged 36,bought pork for lunch and his father,Ngor who is 65 volunteered to prepare the meat for lunch but suddenly the son became angry that his father was taking too much time to prepare the meal.

He however confronted his father and became angry when his father mentioned he had forgotten to add fish sauce to the meal,this did not go down well with him as he took an empty bottle and hit his father on the head and also slapped his own mother who tried intervening.

Sakdin who picked up a kitchen stabbed his father severally and killed him instantly.Police later arrived at the scene of the incident and found Sakdin covered with blood and laying on a cradle in front of the house.

According to Deputy Inspector Colonel Nitipat Kiticharthai:

''The father volunteered to cook the pork,the son went to drink some liquor and then wanted to eat the food,but the dad said it was not finished and not cooked yet.The son did not want to wait,then he said he forgot the fish sauce and became angry.

''It was reported to us that the son had used a knife to stab the father at their home.I knew we would have to go to investigate the scene,It's a single storey house,the father was wearing a loin cloth without shirt.

''He had more than 10 stab wounds on his back ,particularly across his left shoulder and one that deeply penetrated the heart.The smell of blood stained the area.I asked the wife how her husband died and she identified her son as the killer.

''He was detained while we investigated the home.''
